Edit: We are hoping to make a final decision by Saturday, Feb 27th. We are working hard to schedule interviews to meet this deadline. Thank you for your interest!
**Contenda is building data analytics for content creators.**
We are solving the asymmetric information problem between content creators and fans. Content creators have omnipresence across multiple stacks like YouTube, Twitch, Discord, Twitter, and Substack. We collect and analyze data across platforms, aggregating insights into the Contenda dashboard.
We recently launched our alpha test flight and we're interviewing at accelerators like Envision and Pear VC.
Lilly Chen- Founder. CC '19 in Mathematical Economics. Currently software engineering at Facebook, previously at Midgame.
Steven Abreu- Software Engineer. Oberlin '21 in Computer Science. Previously Bloomberg and Google.
Johnson Lin- Product Manager/Data Scientist. Vassar '21 in Math. Previously at Midgame.
Ben Davies- Product Manager/UX Researcher. CC '22 in Sociology.
We're looking for a hardworking individual who has an aptitude for problem-solving. We have a lot of work we need to do including engineering, product management, and design. We don't expect you to have formal training or experience in all of those things. We're happy to teach you :)
In terms of logistics:
We'll fly you out to the Contenda Hack House (Bay Area, CA) for Block 6. All travel and food will be covered. This is a full-time position, so you can't be in a class or working on anything else part-time. You'll have your own furnished bedroom and workstation. The only things you really need are clothes and a laptop. There is no cash compensation for this internship. Depending on performance, there's an opportunity for a second internship or full-time offer with salary and equity.
In terms of work:
"Do it. You are going to learn so much and thank yourself for applying." — Ben

Ben (CC '22) makes breakfast before morning standup. Everyone takes turns cooking dinner. All groceries, takeout, and snacks are paid for.

Steven (Oberlin '21) shows off his gaming PC setup. We love playing video games and board games to unwind!
